Josie McAuliffe, 5th dan , started teaching Tae Kwon Do in Maryland in July of 1998, there were two students taking classes in the dance studio of a local high school. Now there are three different classes. A large number of these students have become black belts under Grandmaster Sun, with five students earning their 2nd Dan black belts.
Nine years later, there are three classes: Monday nights, Wednesday nights, and Saturday mornings.
We actively participate with the World Tae Kwon Do Association by attending semi-annual tournaments, black-belt camps, and other events sponsored by the Association.
Training is vigorous with a strong emphasis on proper technique and detail. The instructors take great pride and responsibility teaching proper Tae Kwon Do techniques. As a result, the school has been growing and our students are well regarded throughout the Association.
